Well, it sounds like your struggle with the same problem that most people struggle with when losing weight and that is nutrition. It is for this reason that when losing weight that we emphasize "Nutrition First".
In reading your post I see that you have in part answered your own question. You've pointed out that you're not doing anything right now and that you eat out of boredom. Eating out of boredom is a common problem for many people and so something that you must do is STAY BUSY. Along this line, having lots of down time is an open door through which many bad habits may enter. So, a key to being successful with your weight loss and everything in life is utilizing your time productively.
So, you'll need to come up with some things to keep you busy. I'm confident that if you take some time and think about some other goals and things that you would like to accomplish then that you'll come up with a long list which will keep you busy and your mind occupied on things other than food.
Staying busy is a good start. However, its impossible to avoid hunger pangs completely and so here are a couple of solutions for when you experience hunger pangs.
1) Respond to hunger pangs/cues with low calorie snacks that are high in fiber, high in protein, and low in fat. 2) Drink lots of water. 3) Eat slowly to give your body time to "register" the food which you have eaten.
These solutions will help fill your belly and provide you with a filling of satiety.
